“ Awesome brunch spot with legit mariachi and great food. Usually it's one or the other but this place checks off all the boxes for me. Ambience, not too much but very clean decor and Instagram worthy spots. Menu is limited for brunch with about 14 options including chilaquiles, breakfast burgers steak and eggs plus some sweeter options. Drinks are small and pricey, I had the French lavender 75 - very well made. Waiters were friendly and all worked to make sure we had refills and taken care of. My one suggestion is to work on getting food it together for the entire party. We had to wait about 20 mins for 3/6 people in between so tha made food cold. ”
“ Everything here is so amazing. The service is always impeccable, we feel welcomed the second we walk in. The restaurant is gorgeous. The food is something I'm still dreaming about. Yes, it will cost more than your average restaurant, but that's because you can truly taste the quality. The steak cut like butter, the flavors were outstanding. Hand crafted cocktails too, can't go wrong! ”
“ Cannot put into words how amazed I was at this place. I went with a friend for brunch. I got the chilaquiles and he ordered the Barbacoa. Both plates were phenomenal. Service was great (shout out Caesar). They had a mariachi band playing music and even came to our table to perform a song for us. The chips and salsa to start with were also delicious. I can't wait to come back here. Chef David has been killing the OC Halal food game lately and I can't wait to see what he comes up with next! Note on halal - All the Australian Wagyu is halal. The Japanese Wagyu is not. Their prime steak is Creakstone. The servers are very well educated on halal and can help you in any way ”
“ My family and I made a trip to the Anaheim Packing House on a Sunday afternoon; I loved the decor as soon as we walked in. There's Mariachi on Sundays; call the restaurant to verify the hours on the day you plan to visit. Parking can be challenging, but we were fortunate to find parking immediately. We started with two appetizers: esquites a la parrilla and chicken mole tetela. This was our first time trying tetela, which is a triangular-shaped corn masa pocket (similar to empanadas or quesadillas). OMG! So delicious! It's filled with chicken and covered in mole. I highly recommend this! The Esquites were also great. I had the al pastor bone-in short rib; it was a big plate, plenty to share, in my opinion. I had to take most of it home because there was no way I could finish it in one sitting. It also comes with rice and beans. My boyfriend ordered the filet mignon and a small side of beans. Our kids had a cheeseburger and quesadilla with fries. I also had the "Tropicali" cocktail, which was tasty and had an incredible presentation. Service was lacking at times, but it was a busy Sunday afternoon. ”
“ En Familia is located next to the Packing House and offers high end Mexican cuisine in a modern setting. All the meats and food preparations are HALAL here with the exception of the A5 wagyu steaks. Complimentary chips and salsa are provided. Wagyu barbacoa tamale tatemado ($17) - Stewed and shredded beef was served in a masa shell with a cilantro arugula slaw, crema, and contija. House beans accompanied this delicious dish. Seabass fish taco ($6) - The tacos here are street size but are packed. This fish taco was fried and served with onions, cilantro, cabbage, pico de gallo, queso fresco and crema. I really enjoyed this and it was packed with so much flavor. Prime tasajo taco ($8) - This consisted of tender and flavorful beef, served with greens. It was on the pricier side but still a great tasting taco. Wagyu chorizo taco ($6) - I enjoyed the spiciness of the ground chorizo in this taco and would probably opt for this along with the fish taco. A YELP check-in scored me some churros with ice cream. The churros were crispy and topped with a chocolate sauce as well as a caramel filling (carjeta) on the inside that really took these churros over the top. Overall I really enjoyed the food here and would definitely come back here, especially for their Taco Tuesday specials! Parking can be a bit of a challenge as there is only street parking, but one can find some metered parking or parking structures a few blocks away. There is a 3% surcharge for the usage of credit cards. ”
“ Amazing place, really good food and our server Lauren did amazing! Give this place a try, you wok be disappointed ”
“ Food here is really delicious !!! Luis provided us with great service, he is very caring, friendly, and patient with his customers . would definitely recommend !! ”
“ Visited on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. We sat outside on the patio as we had our dog with us. Long bench seating outside as well as high bench tops. There was also a TV outside that had the games on. Inside there was a mariachi and pretty ambiance. We all tried their coffees and the pistachio latte was nice and subtle. The mojitos were very refreshing. The chips and salsa are very addicting and fresh chips and super tasty salsa. Dishes we tried: Chilaquiles - got with green sauce. Very tasty 8/10 Chicken mole and waffles - if you like mole this was a good unique dish to try Chorizo and eggs - this was super flavorful and yummy as well overall was a nice experience to enjoy outdoor brunch - brunch options are not too many but enough. Parking is very difficult as this is next to packing house and its near impossible to find parking so be prepared for that! ”
“ The first time we went we had such an amazing experience but this second time it was just okay. It took 25-30 minutes for someone to take our drinks order/food. 15 mins to get even water after we got seated. The service was very slow, and it wasn't that busy maybe 4 tables occupied. We got our food really fast, even faster than the chips and salsa or even our drinks. It's a lovely place just the service was very slow. Everything we have tried is delicious. The place is cute/esthetic. ”
